Animation and Stop Motion Techniques - Ages 8–12 (Full Day)
Unleash your creativity in this hands-on workshop designed for artists, filmmakers, and animation enthusiasts alike! Whether you're new to animation or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers an immersive experience in both traditional and modern animation techniques, with a special focus on stop motion.
Whether you're interested in making a short film, a commercial, or simply exploring the magic of stop motion animation, this workshop will give you the skills and confidence to bring your ideas to life, frame by frame.
Cakes and Cakes Decorating - Ages 10–15 (Full Day)
Calling all creative bakers! This hands-on cake camp is perfect for older kids who are ready to level up their baking and decorating skills. Students will learn how to bake delicious cakes from scratch and explore advanced decorating techniques like piping, frosting textures, borders, lettering, and themed designs.
Throughout the camp, your students will work with buttercream, experiment with colors and tools, and learn professional tips for creating cakes that look just as amazing as they taste. With plenty of room for creativity, each student will design their own unique cake creations to take home and show off.

Roblox® Makers and Coders - Ages 7–12 (Full Day)
Unlock the power of Roblox® Studio, the world creation tool used by real-world Roblox® developers! Learn how to build 3D models and create an adventure in your Roblox® world. Bring characters to life with unique animations you design.
Then, discover the Lua coding language while designing experiences in Roblox®, an online universe where you can create anything you dream of. This class combines game design concepts, coding, and fun! New developers will learn to use Roblox® Studio software to reimagine the popular game genres with their own custom code! Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Ultimate Cookie Lab - Ages 10–15 (Full Day)
This class is designed for older kids who love to bake, experiment, and get a little messy! Students will learn how to create bakery-style cookies, from perfect dough mixing to decorating and presentation. They explore flavor combinations, practice kitchen techniques, and work collaboratively in a fun, hands-on environment. Each day includes baking, decorating, taste-testing, and creative challenges that encourage confidence and independence in the kitchen. By the end of the week, your students will have sharpened their baking skills, learned new recipes, and taken home delicious treats they’re proud of—all while having a blast with fellow cookie enthusiasts.

Street Foods of the World - Ages 13–16 (Full Day)
Pack your bags and grab your apron! In this fun and interactive kids’ culinary workshop, young chefs will travel the globe through the exciting world of street food. From colorful wraps and crispy snacks to sweet treats enjoyed in markets around the world, kids will discover how food brings cultures together and learn fun facts about different countries, ingredients, and traditions that make each dish special. Come cook, taste, and explore the world, one delicious bite at a time!

CSI Camp - Ages 10-16 (Full Day)
STEM principles come to life through the exciting world of forensic science and crime scene investigation. In this dynamic course, students explore how science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are applied to solve real-world mysteries.
Through engaging lectures, hands-on labs, and interactive exercises, students will investigate core CSI techniques, including collecting, analyzing, and classifying fingerprints; creating and interpreting blood spatter patterns; casting and examining footprints; and more.
Designed as an immersive enrichment experience, this highly interactive class encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. Instruction is led by current or retired detectives, providing students with authentic insights and real-world expertise from professionals in the field.
Young Coders and Minecraft® Modders - Ages 7–12 (Full Day)
Every child can code! Develop your skills as a young coder by exploring block coding, JavaScript, and Python concepts while making your own playable mini-games. This introductory coding course is designed to get elementary-aged students excited about technology through a series of hands-on and engaging learning challenges.
Next, customize your own Minecraft world and mod the classic game in this one-of-a-kind class. Learn scripting and logic statements as you create your first mods. Students will create a wide variety of new elements, gameplay mechanics, and world-generating mods to change the way you play Minecraft. Projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Projects from this class require the Java version of Minecraft. Tablet, phone, and game console versions of Minecraft are not compatible. Returning students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Food Mythbusters - Ages 10–16 (Full Day)
Do you think pepperoni pizza comes from Italy? Are French fries really French? Think again—LIES! Join us for a fun, food-filled adventure where we bust common food myths and uncover where your favorite foods actually come from. Young chefs will explore surprising food origins, learn cool global facts, and cook both the “myth” foods and the real, authentic dishes from each country. Get ready to cook as we discover the truth behind famous foods from around the world.

Mock Trial - Ages 10–16 (Half Day–AM Only)
Step into the courtroom and experience the thrill of the legal world in an immersive Mock Trial course. Students will learn the fundamentals of the justice system while developing critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills. Guided by experienced instructors, students will analyze a case, prepare legal arguments, examine and cross-examine witnesses, and practice courtroom etiquette. Perfect for students curious about law, debate, or performance, this camp builds confidence, sharpens communication skills, and makes learning the law both challenging and fun.
Taught and coached by Criminal and Civil Trial Attorneys, the program culminates in a full mock trial, where students put their preparation to the test in a realistic courtroom simulation. Throughout the week, participants will take on the roles of attorneys, witnesses, jurors, and courtroom officials, gaining hands-on experience with trial strategy and legal reasoning.
Content from the previous week’s CSI camp is incorporated into this course, but can also be taken as a standalone workshop.
Simple Snacks - Ages 8–12 (Full Day)
Get ready to mix, munch, and make your own delicious creations! Our Simple Snacks class is perfect for kids who love tasty treats and hands-on fun in the kitchen. Campers will learn how to whip up easy, healthy, and creative snacks—from fruity bites and crunchy sandwiches to sweet treats and fun dips—using simple ingredients they can make at home.
Through interactive cooking sessions, your student will build confidence with basic kitchen skills, explore flavors, and discover fun ways to turn everyday ingredients into something exciting. By the end of the week, they will have a collection of easy snack recipes, new cooking skills, and plenty of tasty memories! Perfect for young chefs ready to snack, share, and have fun in the kitchen.

Beats and Jams: Digital Music/YouTube® Content Creators - Ages 7–12 (Full Day)
Begin your rise to the top of the charts with digital music production! Just like today's top artists, you can design your own beats or remix a mashup of your favorite songs to become a digital composer and sound engineer. In this course, students will learn to produce digital music, record sound, make sound effects, and mix their own tracks.
Then, find your voice and leave your mark on the world! Whether you are six or sixteen, it’s time to start a career as the next YouTube star. Explore the variety of content and personalities that exist on YouTube and how to find your own niche. Learn the Dos and Don’ts of the platform and how to practice good digital citizenship. Develop your on-camera presence, your own channel branding, and professional editing skills. Take home a plan for launching your own channel with the content created in class! Student projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Soccer and Athletic Mindfulness - Ages 8–13 (Full Day)
This program is for all ability levels, focusing on mastering the fundamental skills and techniques of the sport. Players will be challenged in a fun and engaging environment, led by Atlantic Cape Buccaneer coaches, staff, and students. Each day of the week will focus on specific skills: Ball Mastering, 1v1 Attack, and Defense, Passing, and Shooting. Each session will conclude with a small scrimmage to apply and reinforce the skills learned throughout the week in a game-like environment.
Each afternoon, students will participate in a mindfulness session focused on strengthening performance, confidence, and emotional regulation—both on and off the field. The program blends age-appropriate mindfulness practices, such as good nutrition and rest, with somatic movement, guided breathing techniques, visualization, and collaborative team-building activities.
Participants learn how to sharpen focus, improve balance, and sustain concentration during practices and competition. Athletes also develop practical tools to build resilience, manage pre-game nerves, reset quickly after mistakes, and perform with confidence under pressure. By nurturing both individual growth and positive team dynamics, this program helps young athletes cultivate the mental edge needed for success in sports—and in life.

Cupcakes and Cookies - Ages 8–12 (Full Day)
Sweeten up your summer with our Cupcakes & Cookies class! This hands-on culinary adventure is perfect for kids who love to bake, decorate, and of course, taste their creations. Students will learn the basics of mixing, baking, and decorating cupcakes and cookies, experimenting with fun flavors, colorful icings, and creative toppings.
Each day is packed with interactive activities, from decorating challenges and taste tests to mini baking competitions. Kids will gain confidence in the kitchen, learn essential baking skills, and explore their creativity—all while making new friends who share a love for sweet treats. By the end of the week, students will have taken home their delicious creations, new recipes, and a summer full of fun memories.

Make your LEGOs come to life! Bring in your favorite action figures or LEGOs and create a short film with your friends. Whether you want to recreate a scene from Star Wars or design a world of your own, this class brings your dreams to the screen. Students will need to bring in LEGOs and/or action figures from home, but all other equipment is provided.

Baseball and Athletic Mindfulness - Ages 8–13 (Full Day)
Designed to provide students with a comprehensive and structured approach to improving their skills, our baseball program will follow a proven training script to ensure maximum development while keeping the atmosphere fun and engaging. Students will experience the following activities, facilitated by the Atlantic Cape athletic staff:
Warm-Up Exercises and Stretching, Warm-Up Throwing, Position- Specific Drills (Infield, Outfield, Pitchers and Catchers, Team Drills, and Hitting Practice. Throughout the week, we'll keep things fresh and fun with games, but the main focus will be on providing real, effective instruction and helping each camper make noticeable improvements.
