Embark on an EPIC adventure in virtual reality! Crime Scene Investigation

STEM concepts relating to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes are explored. The lecture, labs, and exercises will cover many CSI topics including: collecting, analyzing, and classifying fingerprints, creating & examining blood spatter patterns, casting footprints, and so much more. This is a very hands-on and interactive enrichment class for students. Current or retired Detectives teach this class.

Our Baseball Clinic is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and structured approach to improving their skills. Each clinic day will follow a proven training script to ensure maximum development while keeping the atmosphere fun and engaging. Students will experience the following activities, facilitated by the Atlantic Cape athletic staff: Warm-Up Exercises and Stretching, Warm-Up Throwing, Position- Specific Drills (Infield, Outfield, Pitchers and Catchers, Team Drills, and Hitting Practice. The week will conclude in an inter-squad scrimmage towards the end of the week if enough players are available. Throughout the week, we’ll keep things fresh and fun with games, but the main focus will be on providing real, effective instruction and helping each camper make noticeable improvements.

Facilitated by Atlantic Cape athletic department staff, his two-week basketball camp is designed to enhance players’ skills, fitness, and understanding of the game. The first week focuses on fundamentals, including daily drills for shooting, dribbling, passing, and conditioning, aimed at building proper technique, speed, and agility. Players engage in dynamic warm-ups, plyometric exercises, and strength training to improve explosiveness and stamina while developing their ball-handling and teamwork.

The second-week shifts to more advanced training, with an emphasis on offensive and defensive strategies, including post moves, pick-and-roll execution, and defensive footwork. Scrimmages become more frequent, offering players the chance to apply learned skills in real-game scenarios, often analyzed for personalized feedback. The camp concludes with a tournament or series of games to test players’ progress and teamwork. Throughout, the focus remains on improving technical skills, physical conditioning, and strategic understanding.

This program is designed to teach players the essential skills needed to succeed on the court: Basic Skills Training: Players will develop proficiency in passing, hitting, setting, serving, and other fundamental volleyball techniques, laying the foundation for more advanced skills.

Position Knowledge: Each player will gain a deep understanding of every position on the court and the responsibilities associated with it. This knowledge will help them function as a cohesive unit during games.

Understanding the Rules: Participants will learn the rules of the game and how the sport works, ensuring they understand the structure and flow of volleyball.

Game-Related Drills: Players will engage in drills that simulate real-game situations while incorporating light conditioning to build endurance and in-game focus.

Sportsmanship & Team Support: The program emphasizes the importance of good sportsmanship, encouraging players to support and uplift one another both on and off the court.

By the end of the program, players will have the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in scrimmages, demonstrating a well-rounded understanding of volleyball.
